Mission: High-Altitude Drone Trials with the Indian Army

Location: Sela Pass | 15,000 ft ASL | Eastern Himalayas

Brief:

Film Skyber’s next-gen drone being tested by the Indian Army—above the snowline, where most machines tap out.

Reality:

At 15,000 feet, every element conspires against you. -8°C bites into metal. Batteries drain in minutes. There’s barely enough oxygen to breathe, let alone operate precision equipment.

We carried full camera rigs by hand, metal bodies turning ice-cold, visibility reduced to a blur of white, breath fogging up every lens. Three days. Zero visibility. Thin air. Thick snow haze. And yet, we filmed. The drone lifted. Stabilized. Held formation. All under the Indian Army’s watch, flawlessly. Skyber Aerospace didn’t just test a drone. They proved it could operate where human limits are tested. We didn’t just shoot a film. We captured resilience in flight. Outcome: Success. Documented.
