At Rawtales, we believe storytelling is not a department. It’s not a deliverable. It is a commitment to truth, to craft, and to change.

Over the last two decades, we’ve worked across the spectrum of storytelling, from wild terrains to boardroom campaigns, from grassroots realities to global brands. Our journey began in the field as researchers, designers, producers, and photographers, chasing stories where GPS often failed, and only instinct led the way. What grew out of that was not just a production company, but a storytelling collective powered by purpose.

We’ve created films that move people. Whether it’s a short documentary raising USD 80,000 every year for critical eye care surgeries, or a brand campaign that brings development stories to life, we focus on stories that matter, and on telling them right.

Creating Safe Spaces for women in Tea Gardens

We had the opportunity to document a powerful initiative by the Women’s Safety Accelerator Fund (WSAF), a program working to build safe and empowering workplaces for women in the tea industry of Assam.

Our film captures stories from the lush tea gardens of Dibrugarh, where women are not just plucking leaves, but reclaiming dignity, rights, and a voice. WSAF, through its collaborative efforts with IDH, Unilever, Tesco, and Twinings, addresses gender-based violence and champions women’s social, economic, and political empowerment. This film is a small window into a much larger movement, one that places women at the heart of change.
